What is a Jamboree?04/01/2010 - 00:0014/01/2010 - 23:59 The next jamboree is coming, and this time it will be in Sydney, at Cataract Scout Park. A jamboree is a highlight of scouting for most members, and all scouts and older cubs should be looking forward to the event. In the past the parents of children going to the Jamboree have done fund raising to help off set the costs of sending the children. We propose starting a committee to fund raise about 18 months before hand to organise activities for the 12 months prior to the Jamboree.
